Villa Mona is a spacious two-home property designed for groups of up to 16 guests, offering privacy, comfort, and a seamless blend of indoor and outdoor living. Nestled in the lush jungle of Nosara Springs, the property is surrounded by towering trees that provide a natural habitat for monkeys and other native wildlife. Guests can enjoy a peaceful atmosphere while being just a short walk from the river for kayaking and paddleboarding or a quick ride to the stunning beaches of Playa Pelada and Playa Guiones.

LOCAL QUIRKS – IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THIS AREA OF COSTA RICA
While Costa Rica's infrastructure is steadily improving, it's important to note that some things are beyond our control. During your stay, you may experience occasional dust, bugs, and power, water, or internet outages. These are common in the area and part of the experience of immersing yourself in a different country and culture.
If staying connected is essential during your visit, we recommend looking into internet data plans available through your cellular provider. Additionally, please be aware that Playa Guiones, Playa Pelada, and surrounding areas of Nosara are rapidly growing communities, which means construction noise may be present between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. We make every effort to keep our guests informed about ongoing construction that may impact their stay, but unfortunately, we do not always receive advance notice of new projects.
Regarding plumbing, please note that the septic system in Nosara does not allow toilet paper to be flushed (with a few exceptions). We kindly ask that you adhere to this guideline during your stay.
We are committed to providing the best possible experience, but we want to ensure that all guests are aware of these local quirks before booking. Refunds and concessions will not be provided for the above-mentioned issues, as they are beyond the control of the homeowner and property manager. If you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out before booking.

IMPORTANT NOTICE
We want to ensure that your stay in Nosara is safe and enjoyable. Like many beach communities, petty theft can occasionally be an issue in the area. Your safety and peace of mind are our top priorities, so we kindly ask that you take the following precautions during your stay:
Always keep doors and windows locked when you're away from the property and at night. If your sliding doors or windows have security bars, please ensure they are in place. If you cannot find the bars, contact us as soon as possible.
Never leave valuables or personal items unattended when you leave the house, including electronics, identification, and anything else of apparent value.
Do not leave valuables in your car while you’re out, and avoid leaving anything on your front or back patios unattended.
If your property has a security alarm, always set it when you leave, even for short periods of time.
While a security guard is not included with your rental, we can arrange for one upon request. If you'd like to hire a security guard for part or all of your stay, please let us know during the booking process and specify the hours you'd like covered.
Please be aware that, even with these precautions in place, theft can still occur in Nosara. Rent Nosara, the homeowner, and the property manager are not responsible for any loss of items due to theft.
