Casa Prana is a newly constructed, modern three-story retreat nestled in the heart of the jungle in central Guiones. This stunning home boasts breathtaking views, contemporary comforts, and a serene atmosphere—all while being just a short walk from Guiones’ vibrant restaurants, surf shops, and wellness destinations.

Every one of the four bedrooms comes with its own ensuite bathroom and offers spectacular jungle vistas, with three of the rooms featuring private outdoor patios for added tranquility. The home is thoughtfully appointed with:

• Two powder rooms conveniently located on the first and third floors
• A spacious laundry room stocked with fresh linens
• Yoga mats and props, along with beach chairs and umbrellas
• A half-covered outdoor lounge on the third floor, perfect for yoga, exercising, sunbathing, or stargazing

Local Considerations

While Costa Rica is a beautiful and welcoming destination, it’s important to be aware of a few local quirks:

• The septic system in Nosara does not allow flushing of toilet paper. Bins are provided for disposal.

• Power, water, and internet outages can occur unexpectedly. If reliable internet is critical for you, we recommend securing a backup data plan through your cellular provider.

• The Playa Guiones and Nosara areas are growing rapidly, and construction noise is possible between 6 AM and 5 PM.

• Expect bugs, dust, and humidity, as is common in a tropical climate.

These factors are beyond the control of the homeowner or property manager, and no refunds or concessions will be provided due to these issues.

Safety & Security

As in many beach communities, petty theft can occur. To ensure your safety:

• Always lock doors and windows when away or at night.

• Do not leave valuables outside or unattended.

• Set the security alarm when leaving the property.

• If desired, a private security guard can be arranged for your stay—please inquire at booking.

While we take security seriously, even with precautions, there is always a risk of theft, and the Owner and Property Manager are not responsible for any losses.

Rental Rules & Conditions

• Bookings within 72 hours of arrival must be confirmed with us before reserving.

• A refundable damage deposit will be held and returned 7 days after checkout if no damage occurs.

• Late check-in fee of $100 applies for arrivals after 9 PM.

• Late checkout requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Unauthorized late departures will result in deposit forfeiture.

• No smoking inside the property.

• No additional overnight guests beyond those listed in the reservation.

• Beach towels must be used for the beach—bath towels from the home should not be taken outside.

• Keys must be returned upon checkout to avoid a $150 charge.

• Guests agree to respect the home, neighbors, and natural surroundings and use the premises only for appropriate purposes.
