Tucked away in a peaceful hillside setting, the villa offers the perfect balance of seclusion and convenience. Just a 20-minute drive from Playa Garza and a 30-minute drive to the amenities of Guiones, the journey winds through scenic rural roads with beautiful jungle views along the way. The tranquil location, breathtaking vistas, and sense of privacy make the drive worth it, creating a truly relaxing escape surrounded by nature.

Please note the villa is located on a mountainside with sections of unimproved, single-lane roads. A 4x4 vehicle is strongly recommended for ease of travel, especially during the green/rainy season. Many residents and visitors use this route daily without issue, but confidence in mountain driving is helpful.

LOCAL QUIRKS | WHAT TO EXPECT

Life in Nosara is relaxed and full of charm — but it comes with a few quirks! You may experience dust, bugs, or brief power, water, or internet outages. Construction noise is also possible between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. as the area continues to grow.

To help minimize disruptions, Casa del Viento is thoughtfully equipped with a solar-assisted power system, backup water tanks, and modern smart toilets. These features not only provide added comfort and reliability, but also reflect the home’s commitment to sustainable, eco-conscious living while maintaining a high-end guest experience.

If reliable internet is essential, consider adding a mobile data plan. Please note that local septic systems don’t allow toilet paper to be flushed — bins are provided.

These are normal aspects of life in Costa Rica and outside our control, so refunds aren’t offered for such occurrences.

SAFETY & CANCELLATION

While we honor our cancellation policy, processing fees are non-refundable for guest-initiated cancellations.

Petty theft can occur, so please keep doors locked, valuables secured, and use alarms or security barswhen available. A private guard can be arranged upon request.

Even with precautions, theft can happen. Rent Nosara, the homeowner, and the property manager cannot be held responsible for lost items.
