OTHER THINGS TO NOTE

• Nightly on-site security guard and gated entry (gates close 10:30 PM – 6 AM; code required).
• Designated garage on the property for one vehicle.
• There are 13 stairs leading to the entry of all first-floor units.
• Quiet sunset hour at the pool (4:30 – 5:30 PM) — please supervise children and respect neighbors, as many units have screened walls and open-air layouts.
• Lock valuables and use caution at the beach or in vehicles.
• Pets: Not permitted for guests per HOA rules.

LOCAL QUIRKS | WHAT TO EXPECT

Life in Nosara is relaxed and full of charm — but it comes with a few quirks! You may experience dust, bugs, or brief power, water, or internet outages. Construction noise is also possible between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. as the area continues to grow.

If reliable internet is essential, consider adding a mobile data plan. Please note that local septic systems don’t allow toilet paper to be flushed — bins are provided.

These are normal aspects of life in Costa Rica and outside our control, so refunds aren’t offered for such occurrences.

SAFETY & CANCELLATION

While we honor our cancellation policy, processing fees are non-refundable for guest-initiated cancellations.

Petty theft can occur, so please keep doors locked, valuables secured, and use alarms or security barswhen available. A private guard can be arranged upon request.

Even with precautions, theft can happen. Rent Nosara, the homeowner, and the property manager cannot be held responsible for lost items.
